BUSH, Daine. The Brits: England in the 1970s.

(No place): Cafe Royal Books, 2021 – 2022.  First and second editions.  Four booklets.  A complete set of Diane Bush’s photographic documentation of England in the 1970s.  The set comprises: The Brits (second edition); More Brits (second edition); Even More Brits (second edition); The Last of the Brits (first edition).  Bush, an American, considering herself a political refugee from the Nixon administration arrived in the UK 1n 1969 and immediately became hooked on street photography and participated in two exhibitions at the Half Moon Gallery, “Women”, and “Men photographed by women”. Her work across these four volumes offers a remarkable documentation of the UK during the 70s.  All volumes in near fine condition in stapled wrappers.
