In two parts; Politique and Art, comprises 14 black-and-white reproductions, including facsimiles of autograph letters, a newspaper page, and a “magic slate” (ardoise magique). These elements reflect Broodthaers’s engagement with the materiality of language and the visual representation of text. The work delves into themes of national identity and the role of the artist in society, challenging conventional narratives through its juxtaposition of images and multilingual texts.  A near fine copy in printed wrappers.  Published in an edition 400 copies, this initialled by Broodthaers in blue ink (some copies were initialled in red ink).
