(Brussels): Aux Editions, Un Coup De Des 1949.  First edition.  Octavo.  136 pages.  Preface by Raymond Queneau.  A scarce European contribution to the literature of cocktailiana, by the barman of the Saint James in Brussels. The volume is noteworthy for its graphic design, typography and illustrations of which there are 10 colour plates and 25 caricature line drawings in the text by the French Surrealist painter, illustrator, and designer Felix Labisse.  This is a very good copy in printed wrappers, some short tears and spine base.  Published in a total edition of 2175 this is one of 171 numbered copies supposedly on japon.
