The 83 full-page black and white photos explore the community through portraiture that is direct, and yet expressive, showing people in both interior and street settings. Wonderful and deceptively simple work firmly in a tradition of Italian Neorealist photography.  A very good copy in wrappers, crease to bottom corner.
