Quarto. ‘The Erotics of the Gaze is a frank meditation on the male gaze, an essay in pictures and a kind of concrete poetry where typography has equal status with the imagery. The book is full of snatched images of women in public – on the streets and in cafes – voyeuristically focusing on their bodies – primarily legs.
