ARMSTRONG, David. Night and Day.

(London): Morel Books, 2012. First edition. Quarto. 144 pages. Armstrong’s candid snaps of his friends and lovers within the context of their downtown and decidedly carefree lives. People like Jean Michel Basquiat, Philip-Lorca di Corcia, Patti Astor, John Lurie, and then-illustrator Steven Meisel, hanging out on Cape Cod, at the Mudd Club, and in Armstrong’s old apartment. The volume also includes a facsimile of an original poem typed out in 1979 by Rene Ricard, who also designed the cover of the book, and a conversation between David Armstrong and Jack Pierson. A near fine copy without dust jacket as issued.
