Antwerp Fashion 6+.

(Tokyo): Art Gallery Tokyo Opera City, 2009.  First edition.  Flyer and invitation.  The rare flyer and invitation to the Antwerp Fashion 6+ at the Art Gallery Tokyo Opera City, April 11, – June 28, 2009.  The exhibition was the first in Japan to explore the attraction and creativity of Antwerp fashion,  as well as featuring work by the legendary Antwerp 6 Dirk Bikkembergs, Ann Demeulemeester, Walter Van Beirendonck, Dries Van Noten, Dirk Van Saene and Marina Yee the exhibition featured designs by Maison Martin Margiela, Raf Simons, A.F. Vanevost, Jurgi Persoons, Veronique Branquinho, Lieve Van Gorp, Haider Ackermann, Bruno Pieters, Peter Pilotto and Bernhard Willhelm.  The double-sided flyer measuring 30cm by 20cm gives details of the event in both Japanese and English.  The invitation to the private view on April 10, 2009 measures 11cm by 22.75cm.  Both items in fine condition.  Housed in the gallery’s printed envelope.  Scarce.
