Each spread features a photograph of his mother alongside handwritten sentences, forming a dialogue that oscillates between presence and absence, life and death. The text reflects a deep emotional resonance, with lines such as “I’ll force you to stay alive, I’ll keep heading toward you—I won’t let you die”. The book’s structure and content exemplify Acconci’s exploration of personal identity and relational dynamics, characteristic of his conceptual art practice.  A very good copy in printed wrappers.  Published in an edition of 500 copies.  This example signed by Acconci.
