The exhibition brought together the work of 35 contemporary textile artists from Estonia, Finland, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania and the UK, exploring the relationship between traditional textile practices, cultural identity and contemporary textile art. The catalogue includes an interview with the participating artists and examines the ways in which textile traditions are transformed through contemporary practice. A very good copy in printed wrappers with integral flaps.
