Photographed by Jackie Nickerson, the book abandons the conventional fashion lookbook in favour of a dark, highly atmospheric sequence of images in which clothing, bodies and texture become almost abstract forms. Among those photographed are several of West’s collaborators and muses, including Teyana Taylor, Playboi Carti, Luka Sabbat and Amina Blue. This presentation of YEEZY Season 3 and Season 4 collections, designed by Kanye West and Jackie Nickerson, is printed on rough, uncoated Kamiko paper with intensely black inks, giving the photographs an unusually tactile and immersive quality. The book contains no conventional text and functions instead as a purely visual work. A very good copy in wrappers, some light wear at extremes.
