FONTANA and KLEIN Yves. Concept Spatial / Anthropometrie.

(Brussels): Accent Galerie, 1967. First edition. Invite card. 13.5 by 13.5cm. A scarce gallery mailing announcing the exhibition Concept Spatial / Anthropométrie, held at Accent Galerie, Brussels, from 14 November to 9 December 1967. The invitation, printed in black on metallic silver stock, is preserved together with its original typographic postal wrapper, folded for mailing and bearing the original postage stamp and partially retained address label (bottom half lost as a result of opening the mail out). Complete gallery mailings of this period are seldom encountered intact, the wrappers having almost invariably been discarded after receipt. The exhibition juxtaposing the work of two of the most influential post-war European artists, Lucio Fontana and Yves Klein, whose radical investigations of space, materiality and the immaterial fundamentally reshaped the language of modern art. A very good copy. Scarce.
