Milam, a pioneer in the independent radio movement (founder of several listener‑supported stations) offers an uncommon mix of technical advice, regulatory commentary, programming ideas and passionate critique of commercial broadcasting. Chapters cover topics such as constructing a station, obtaining a construction permit, running your station, programming strategies, and essays on the art of radio broadcasting.  A very good copy in stapled wrappers.  Reprinted a few times, the first edition is scarce, WorldCat locates just two copies.
