The text traces Barrow’s evolution—from his early influences (including his education at the Institute of Design) to later projects that combine imagery, assemblage, alterations of negatives and mixed media.  Barrow abandoned the traditional approach to photography his work challening the viewer to to look beyond the visual to decipher the many hidden references.  The volume illustrates his works from The series “fashion”; The television montages; The series pink stuff and pink dualities; The verifax prints; The series libraries; The series cancellations; The lithographs; The spray-painted photograms; The caulked reconstructions and recent works.  A very good copy in wrappers, some faint creasing to the rear cover.  .
