(St. Petersburg, Russia): Self-published, 2016.  First edition.  Softcover.  21cm by 14.7cm.  Unpaginated.  Scarce little zine documenting the town of Malinikha, an old residential area on the outskirts of Izhevsk, Russia, considered a ghetto because of many gangs that operated here in the 90s.  Petrachkov, who was born and raised in Malinikha, captures the shared experiences of its residents, highlighting the strong sense of community amidst socioeconomic challenges. The zine delves into the everyday lives of the neighborhood’s inhabitants, reflecting on themes of identity, belonging, and the influence of one’s environment.  A very good copy published in an edition of 100 numbered copies, this signed by the photographer.  Scarce, and good.
