De Standaard, one of Belgium’s leading newspapers, has a tradition where one day a year they hand over the creation of that days paper to one of Belgium’s creative talents.  The issue for Friday September 16th, 2011 is the creation of Walter van Beirendonck (with the assistance of graphic designer Paul Boudens).  The pages of this issue have running text by Walter, and two centrefold pages contain looks created by Walter.  Inside cover photograph of Walter by Jurgen Teller.  A very good example, newsprint.
