(No place): BILL, 2023.  First edition.  Softcover.  40cm by 31cm.  The second in a series of monographs published by BILL, this publication – presented like a newspaper in an offset printed folder – explores eyes and makeup from Inge Grognard’s unique point of view and lens.  A Belgian makeup artist, Grognard embarked on her career in the mid-80s, initiating partnerships with the Antwerp Six: Dries Van Noten, Ann Demeulemeester, Dirk Van Saene, Walter Van Beirendonck, Dirk Bikkembergs, and Marina Yee. Her profound collaboration with Martin Margiela spanned 40 collections over two decades, persisting until his departure from the house in 2009.  Illustrated throughout with close up imagery of Grognard’s innovative eye make-up.  A near fine copy  Published in an edition of 300 copies.
