(Gent, Belgium): Sint-lucas Visual Arts, 2012.  First edition.  Softcover.  30cm by 21cm.  272 pages.  Interesting publication illustrating the film posters produced by graphic design students Sint-Lucas art school following the viewing of films shown at the schoool over the previous ten-years.  Taking on the challenge of breaking through the stereotypical trends found in film poster design, the students were given free reign to explore and experiment, reinterpret and transform, and subvert the marketing logic common to the film industry. This book chronologically presents and reproduces these posters.  The works serves as a visual reflection on their search for graphic identity.  Illustrated throughout.  A very good copy in glossy wrappers.
