((London): Michael Dempsey, 1976. First edition. Quarto. Considered to be the holy grail of punk books, however it isn’t as scarce as it is claimed to be. The trick is to find a copy that hasn’t fallen apart or had images cut-out. The volume serves as a photographic documentation of the early days of punk with images of the bands, and the punks that came to see them in the short history of London’s first punk club. A near fine copy of this notoriously fragile book. You’d have to go back to the seventies to find a better copy than this.
