MIRO, Joan. The Prints of Joan Miro.

[New York, NY]: [Curt Valentin, 1947]. First edition. Quarto. Portfolio containing 42 prints, two of which are colour stencils by Miro. The prints measuring 28 by 21.5 cm. are from the Barcelona series, originally printed in a larger format in 1944. Although the prints here are dated 1944 we believe these are from three years later, when Valentin printed a slightly abridged version from the original 50 in the series. The plates are generally in very good condition. The thin card slipcase, is worn and torn with front cover loose. Scarce as a complete set with the colour plates present.
