The Day-Glo Designer’s Guide.
(Ohio): Day-Glo Color Corp, 1969. First edition. Quarto. Fantastic volume illustrating throughout the effects of Day-Glo flourescence for posters and album covers, magazine ads, packaging and more. Includes a short history of Day-Glo, tips for designers, and a pop up Day-Glo flower garden. The volume was produced to showcase the Day-Glo Corporation’s latest line of fluorescent inks. Nearly every one of its sixty-eight pages is brilliant, including an elaborate twelve page insert of hand-screened Marilyn Monroe prints by Bert Stern. An as new still sealed copy presumably thus complete with the Day-Glo tone chart, the lithography chart and the colour chart present. Scarce, more so in this condition, the first unopened copy we have encountered.
