Without passing judgment, Jacques Sonck confronts the viewer with charming and repulsive individuals: loners, eccentrics, dropouts and the deformed.  Diversity in all its guises within the human species is portrayed without melancholy, compassion or the intention to ridicule.  A very good plus in photo-illustrated boards without dust wrappers as issued.  Like all of Snock’s books, nearly impossible to find.
