MARI, Enzo. Il Gioco Delle Favole.
(Milan): Danese Milano, 1971. The third varint. Slim folio. Unpaginated. An early printing of Mari’s fable game, consisting of six double-sided interlocking cards. Each card, with one central image and two side images, can be interlocked with the other cards to create numerous narratives. It is considered to be one of the most important and intelligent games to stimulate creativity. Continuously reprinted the game is an extraordinarily perfect example of the concept of “art as pedagogy.” The polyvinyl chloride cards, measuring 23cm by 46cm, are in very good condition housed in publisher’s printed card case. Instructions printed in German, Italian, French and English. Box is in very good condition with one small tear.
