HENRY, Tricia. Break All Rules! Punk Rock and the Making of a Style.

(Ann Arbor, MI): U.M.I. Research Press, 1989.  First edition.  The scarce hardcover issue.  152 pages.  An interesting look at the punk phenomena tracing it from the seminal influence f Lou Reed and the Velvet Underground, through the experiments in outrageous fashion and performance of David Bowie, and the New York Dolls to the proto-punk scene at CBGB’s.   The volume also includes chapters on the Sex Pistols and on punk fanzines.  Illustrated with photographic illustrations.  A very good copy in dust jacket.
