Nice selection of 143 previously unpublished Cummings’ poems, includes previously unsavoured but vintage Cummings work alongside a gathering of earlier poems that trace his growth as a draughtsman of words. The appendix includes an additional group of 23 poems, typical examples of Cummings’ earliest efforts and some of his translations from Horace. A very good copy, slight lean, in very good dust jacket.
