A deluxe box containing four photographic prints by Nat Finkelstein from the event at the Cordier & Ekstrom Gallery, New York, when in 1966 the godfather of Pop art, Andy Warhol, filmed the godfather of Dada and Surrealism, Marcel Duchamp. An illustrated account of this meeting was issued as part of the 5th volume of the journal Etant DonnĂ© Marcel Duchamp; a copy of which, signed by Nat Finkelstein, is included. The boxset additionally includes a fifth print, a portrait of Salvador Dali from his visit to Warhol’s factory. The items are housed in a handcrafted box which also includes a rolled contact sheet showing all the images from the photographic session. The box is also includes a hidden image of Warhol, and a copy of a Weird Wedding: (ruminations for a cut-up poem). A near fine example published, in a quickly sold-out, edition of just 20 copies.
