The Dutch supermodel’s first book, a really nice collection of found items and life observations that have been paired by design expert Erik Haberfeld who also lent his unique eye as creative director for brands like Lacoste and Van Cleef & Arpels. Illustrated throughout the volume serves as sensitive exploration of de Brauw’s archival artistic practice, filled with the natural and man made debris that she has collected on her travels. Depicted are all manner of humble, everyday objects cast aside by others only to be re-contextualised within de Brauw’s sensual memory map. A very good copy, with loose leaf inserts all present, in card covers with paper dust jacket and housed in card slipcase. Published in an edition of 500 copies.
