Superb overview of the American College system, (Italian text), with an alphabetical listing of the colleges including features on some of the colleges, Duke, Point West, University at Stony Brook, Fisk University, Rhode Island School of Design to name but a few. The features giving a brief history, details of specialities etc. Illustrated throughout with numerous photographic plates, in both black and white and colour, depicting college life.  A very good copy in printed wrappers. Surprisingly rare both in commerce, and institutionally with just a single copy recorded in OCLC.
