BAKER, Ian David. Younger Days.
(London): Editions Aubrey Walter, 1993. First edition. Octavo. 64 pages. Foreword by Emmanuel Cooper Baker’s scarce collection of portrait, documentary and nude photographs of the male youth, a highly personal and selective view of youth culture. The arrogance of Mr Cool in the Kensington Pool Hall, the defiant aggression of skinheads, or the provocatively nakedness of the youth lying on his bed, all are depicted in Baker’s cult book. This a near fine copy in photo-illustrated wrappers with French flaps. This copy inscribed and dated (97) by the photographer on the title-page. Surprisingly scarce, and sought after. OCLC locates just two copies in the US.
