(New York, NY): Harper and Row, 1977.  First edition.  Small quarto.  Unpaginated.  Cool volume of images where Russians were invited to take their self-portraits at the American Cultural Exchange exhibit in Kiev in 1976.  The participants were able to choose whatever stance or expression they felt was most suitable or appealing.  A very good copy in photo-illustrated wrappers, crease to front cover. Earlier and perhaps better than Nathan Farb’s Russians which attempted to show the similarities between Americans and Russians.
