An impressive study of Italian design in the later part of the 20th century, with essays by Paolo Portoghesi, Maurizio Fagiolo Dell’Arco, Leonardo Benevolo, Vittorio Gregotti, Germano Celant, Manfredo Tafuri, Filiberto Menna and others. Published to coincide with the exhibition ‘Italy: The New Domestic Landscape‘ at The Museum of Modern Artm May 26th – 11 Sept, 1972. Illustrated with 520 illustrations, 124 of which are in colour. A good copy in white boards with translucent dust jacket holding the five free floating design cutouts.Board edges rubbed and worn in patches, jacket with loss at spine base.
